I'm a little behind on posting this, but better late than never, right? We are now selling the Primitive Quilts and Projects Magazine! It's a great new publication that is filled with all things primitive. The first issue contains 17 patterns from all your favorite designers, including, but not limited to, Paula Barnes (Bonnie Blue), Lisa Bongean (Primitive Gatherings), Jan Patek, Cheri Payne, Kathy Schmitz and my personal favorite, Renee Plains (Liberty Star). It's definitely worth checking out, so come in and get your copy today!!

The Party is Over
Our anniversary sale was a success!! We had a great response and had lots of fun! Thank you to all who came out and wished us a happy birthday : ) We even received some beautiful flowers from our wonderful customer Julie Miller. Thanks Julie!!
The winners of the three $30 gift certificates were Debbie Gilsdorf, Cindy Rogers and Cheryl Venarge. Congratulations ladies!!
Now that the party is over, it's back to business!
We had a nice surprise this morning. Another one of our wonderful customers, Cheryl Arnold, brought in her Civil War Chronicles block of the month, in progress. The top photo is her newest block. Once she finishes the rest of this same block, she will add them to the bottom photo. She has done a great job!! She was kind enough to leave what she has made so far for us to hang in the Shoppe. Come by and see what she has accomplished. There are still kits available of the Civil War Chronicles block of the month, so get yours before we run out!

Mountain Patchwork
These cute pieces of primitive artwork are our newest additions to the Shoppe. They are great little projects that will help use up your scraps. They make great wall hangings or they can sit in small easels around the house like the two shown below. The patterns for each of them are available here at the Shoppe. Sorry for the less than professional looking photography, but I wanted to try the camera on my new iPhone : )

A Quilt and A Class
Cheryl has completed the Paris in the Fall BOM sample and it is GORGEOUS! The pattern cover does not do it justice! Whitney will get it quilted soon and then we can hang it up for you all to see. The kits are available as a BOM or just a one time purchase.
We also have an update to the class schedule. Mary Dyer will be teaching the Over the River and Through the Woods quilt. This two part class will cover the embroidery technique used, the flying geese blocks and putting the whole quilt together. Check the class schedule on the website for more information. Whitney will have everything uploaded later today. We have Mary's sample hanging high in the shoppe so I couldn't get a picture of it, but here is a similar example.
