Back from Montana!

Sorry I haven't written in awhile, but we just got back last night from a week in Bozeman, Montana. We went for my cousin's wedding, but we definitely made a vacation out of it! We fly fished, hiked, shot clay pigeons in my uncle's backyard, hung out with family, ate good food (bison burgers are my new favorite) and of course, visited some quilt shops :-) Just to give you an idea of how beautiful Bozeman is, here is the view from my uncle's backyard
(that's a garden and horses grazing in the background)

The weather was gorgeous! It was nice and cool and it rained for about an hour most afternoons. It made it really difficult to come back to the hot dry weather here.

Although it's hard to come back after such a fun week off, we did come back to work today to a few goodies. The new French General line 'Fa La La La La' arrived, as did some more wool from Primitive Gatherings and Blackberry Primitives! That makes for a pretty fun welcome back if you ask me!

Until next time...

  1. Did you go to Quilts in the Country while you were there? The store with the sale items in the bathroom shower. lol

  2. Haha yes we did! It was so cute and the lady working was super nice! I LOVED the garden out front :-)
