Summer Projects

Whitney and I have both been working on samples for the Shoppe over the past week. Shocking, I know! She just finished piecing this small wall hanging called 'Georgette's Snowflakes.'
It's made using Anna Griffin's fabric, Georgette Christmas. Kits will be available here at the Shoppe!

Meanwhile, I've been working on this kit from Primitive Gatherings that I picked up at market. I have the letters stitched down, so now onto the stems and pot!

It should look like this when it's done...
Kits of this one will be available soon.

I also wanted to let you know that we did get in some wool that we ordered at market. We still need to felt it, but it's so pretty that I wanted to show you a small sampling.

Until next time...

Update

It's been a whole week since we got home and we've only rearranged one corner of the store. I think we may have underestimated how much work this is going to be :/

This is what we've accomplished so far:

(We moved the crib into the classroom to make more room for all of the reproduction fabrics :))

In the meantime, we also got in the new Kansas Troubles line, 'Summers End,' and Anna Griffin's new Christmas collection, 'Georgette Christmas.' The pictures for both are up on the website.

Until next time...
